The agency was founded by Omar, a local Berber from the Sahara Desert with more than 15 years of experience in the tourism industry.
His extensive experience, deep knowledge of Morocco, and strong connection with the local communities allow us to create authentic, well-organized, and memorable travel experiences. Our multilingual team speaks English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Berber, our mother language. Omar is the founder of Sahara Trips and a local Berber from the heart of the Merzouga Sahara Desert. With more than 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, Omar has dedicated his career to creating authentic and unforgettable travel experiences throughout Morocco. Growing up surrounded by the landscapes, traditions, and communities of the Sahara, Omar has a deep personal connection to the desert and its people.
His extensive local knowledge allows him to take travelers beyond the typical tourist experience and discover the real Morocco. Omar speaks English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Berber, making it easy to welcome travelers from different countries and cultures. His passion is to introduce visitors to Morocco’s diverse landscapes, rich history, Berber traditions, and genuine hospitality.
